Notes for authors<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Allgemeine Forst- und Jagdzeitung only publishes first articles, either in German or English. Manuscripts should be sent by e-mail to the AFJZ editorial office (redaktion.afjz@sauerlaender-verlag.com).<\/p>\n

An article includes figures, tables and summaries in German, English and French as well as a bibliography. The publisher will take care of the translation of the French summary and the final formatting for publication.<\/p>\n

All manuscripts are first \u201cpre-reviewed\u201d by a subject editor and then forwarded to two reviewers. These reviewers examine the anonymized work in terms of content and form in accordance with internationally accepted review procedures.If several authors have contributed to a manuscript, a \u201cco-authorship declaration\u201d is required from all of them.<\/p>\n

The publication date of an accepted manuscript cannot be guaranteed; the external review process requires varying amounts of time.<\/p>\n

The articles are published open access on the AFJZ website immediately after acceptance by the reviewers and completion of the final and reviewed article in accordance with the \u201cGold Standard\u201d, i.e. they are freely accessible to all.<\/p>\n

The volume numbering is continued and is bound to a calendar (e.g. volume 194\/2025), but the articles in a volume will in future be replaced by the DOI as an identification feature instead of page numbering.<\/p>\n

The author grants the publisher the right to the work (= article) to digitally reproduce the work in non-physical electronic editions and to store it in databases and data networks and to make it accessible to any number of users in whole or in part in such a way that they can receive the work or parts of the work on individual demand (e.g. download, streaming), regardless of the transmission system (e.g. Internet, mobile phone) and the type of receiving device (e.g. computer, cell phone, e-reader).<\/p>\n

After publication, the author will receive a pdf file of the article for his\/her own use and the publisher will cover the costs of DOI availability.<\/p>\n

The costs for the author amount to \u20ac 800 and are to be paid after acceptance of the manuscript for publication.<\/p>\n

In order to ensure a uniform appearance, please note the following remarks:<\/p>\n

The title page contains<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. a title of the work, kept as short as possible,<\/li>\n
  2. the first name(s) and surname(s) of the author(s),<\/li>\n
  3. the institute where the work was written,<\/li>\n
  4. up to a maximum of 10 keywords\/key words in German and English to characterize and bibliographically record the work,<\/li>\n
  5. as a footnote, the current address of the authors with e-mail addresses and, if applicable, the financial support of the study.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Written form<\/strong><\/p>\n

    For the review process, the manuscript should be submitted as word.doc, 12-pt, Times New Roman with 1.5 line spacing. The clarity of the paper can be enhanced by using subheadings. To facilitate the work of the reviewers, please insert line numbering in the body text.<\/p>\n

    Figures and tables<\/strong><\/p>\n

    For the review process, please include the tables and figures in the text.For technical reasons, figures, tables and mathematical formulas should only be submitted as separate files in the final version.<\/p>\n

    Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The most important results of the work should be summarized briefly and concisely in German and English and should give foreign-language readers a good overview of the work.Reference must be made to all figures and tables and the title of the paper must be given in English before the English summary.<\/p>\n

    References<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The bibliography should only contain the literature cited in the text.The author’s name, title of the work or journal, page number and year of publication should be listed in alphabetical order.<\/p>\n
